First off, the title of your application needs to be your character's name. With that said...

Name: Self-explanatory. Also, some characters may not have surnames in canon. If you wish to give them one, we don't mind, but just make sure it's something that fits the character, as well as their world.

Species:
Film/Or Show Character Is From: Some characters are featured in both television and film, so don't forgot to list all of the canons that they appeared in.
Age: If you're not sure about the character's age, then either ask us or guesstimate.
Physical Characteristics: Please just don't slap a screenshot of the character here and nothing else. Paint a vivid description of what they look like with your words! Good information to include (aside from the obvious like eye and hair color) would be their style of clothing, any unique features, and their physique.

Powers (if any):
Tactics: How does your character fight? Were they formally trained, or self-taught? Do they shun weapons, or perhaps they have a personal weapon(s) they like to carry around? Some characters try to avoid combat all together, perhaps using their looks/or charm to disarm volatile situations, or just run the other way.
Weaknesses: This part is very important. Most people don't like perfect characters who can do anything and everything (the staff here at Animasia included). Things like greed, cowardice, vanity, or a vulnerability to something (IE: water, sunlight, etc.) are all good solid weaknesses.

Background: Tells us about the character's past, as well as what happened to them in the show/or film before they came to Animasia. If your character's past isn't explored that much in canon, then you can get creative and fill in the blanks! Just be sure that what you end up with makes sense per canon and what we already know of the character.
Personality: We're not looking for length (though that doesn't mean that you can only write two sentences that are just a bunch of general traits tossed together) as much as we're trying to see if you have a good grasp on the character's personality. Try to cover everything: their quirks, their fears, how they present themselves to others, their ideals, etc.
Relationships: Are they romantically involved with someone? Single and looking, or are they not interested in romance at all? What about their families?

Odds And Ends

Name: Your name, or your online alias!
Account Custom Title: Basically, the text that goes beneath your avatar. It should fit your character, and usually it's something like a quote (either from the character or from some other source), a particular line or catchphrase used by the character, a nickname for them, things like that.
Roleplay Experience:
RP Sample: Only required for your first character. Your sample post should be at least two paragraphs long (we hate one-liners!). We want to judge your writing skills to see if the spelling, grammar, and formatting as well as your understanding of your character are all up to snuff. While it's preferred that your sample involve the character you're applying for, we won't stone you if it isn't.

Other Characters: (If Available) Do you play any other characters here?
Other: Anything extra you can think of, like a question for us, why you choose the character, anything particular about how you're going to play the character, etc., can go here.
Password: The password is "Back To The Drawing Board". We've had some problems with people making no effort to read or understand our rules or what this site is about and jumping in with no thought whatsoever, so we decided that, from now on, a password would be required to complete the application. So if you have not read the rules, we will know. And we won't be pleased.

A few other things of note: PLEASE DO NOT COPY & PASTE INFORMATION FROM ANOTHER WEBSITE INTO YOUR CHARACTER'S PROFILE. You're supposed to describe the character in your own words. If you're accepted, then you're going to be writing quite a bit in the end anyways, so you might as well get used to it.

Secondly, leave the profile as is please. If the coding is messed up in any manner, then you will not be approved until it's fixed. You may also want to peruse through the applications that have already been accepted to get an idea of what we like to see in the profiles here. On the flipside, to see some examples of how NOT to write your application, then stop by the Application Archive and look at the denied applications.
