Animasia is a roleplaying forum where players can portray their favorite cartoon characters from any number of canons, especially television and film. Our wonderful staff is always willing to lend you helping hand, so don’t be afraid to ask us anything! We don’t bite (much).
Out of the blue, animated characters are finding themselves being whisked away from their home universes after the conclusion of their respective stories to Animasia, a realm of infinite adventure, mystery, and wonder! However, behind its' beauty and welcoming atmosphere lurks danger... With things no longer being influenced by the writers’ pens, anything can happen to our favorite characters now!
Will you be one of the heroes who stand against the forces of evil and defend the defenseless? Or a villain, plotting to avenge yourself on your old foes, or eying a bigger prize, the domination of this new world? Or maybe someone who's in-between or wants to play both sides? It's all up to you.

What happens when the curtains finally close?... When you were a child, didn’t you ever wish that the fun, dynamic, and colorful figures you watched everyday on television or in your favorite films were real? Well, get this: cartoons are actually as real as you or I are. The thing is, they just don’t exist in our world.
You see, a cartoon character is brought to life once they go through the entire process of animation: from the moment they're dreamed up in their creators' imaginations, to when their show or movie is complete and ready to be debuted to the public. They exist within the frame of their movie/or show, and, once their adventures on the screen are over with (whether that be because the show was cancelled or the season or movie came to an end), the characters are all immediately transported to the fantastic dimension of Animasia. Although most will be initially confused by their strange new surroundings, they can meet and interact with other animated characters who have been bought here like themselves. As they adapt to their new lives in Animasia, they will find adventure and surprises awaiting them -- including discovering that those who had been killed or died in their respective canons are now alive and well here.
However, deceased characters aren't the only ones who have been returned to the land of the living. The villains have come to Animasia as well. Some are wrathful, wanting to avenge themselves upon the heroes who defeated them earlier, while others desire to complete their original goals. Still, some villains just simply see a new opportunity to cause mischief. Like the heroes, these dark souls can also meet potential new allies and friends who can aid them with their twisted goals. There is no script to dictate that the good guys triumph this time, but it's a good thing that they now have friends and allies of their own to help them out in the growing struggle against the forces of evil. All sides must decide their own fates.
